Tranifer Lovely is a contemporary watercolor artist living and working from their fortress of solitude deep within the Maine woods. Their work is a love song to the forgotten. Creatures and and scenes often overlooked or shunned by others are the source of much of their inspiration. Along with the magic that can be found while exploring the woodlands of the North East. Often taking inspiration from naturalism antique botanical illustrations, and old children's books, they are known to incorporate various flora and fauna into their pieces, grounding them, ever so slightly, in reality, while allowing their imagination to run wild.
Outside of creating art, Tranifer also enjoys spending time with her zoo of oddball pets (sugar gliders, snails, and frogs, to name a few) and tending to their indoor houseplant jungle, along with collecting oddities and victorian antiques.
